Former Chick-fil-A Worker Caught in $80K Mac & Cheese Refund Plot!
A former Chick-fil-A employee in Texas has been arrested for allegedly stealing over $80,000 by orchestrating a fraudulent scheme involving macaroni and cheese orders.
The "Refund" Scheme
Keyshun Jones was dismissed from his job at a Texas Chick-fil-A in October 2025. Despite his termination, he returned to the restaurant, and a month later, the owner discovered a significant financial discrepancy and informed the police.
Surveillance reportedly showed Jones accessing the register without permission. He is accused of processing approximately 800 macaroni and cheese tray orders and refunding them to his personal credit cards instead of serving them.
The authorities claim these transactions amounted to more than $80,000.
A Game of Hide and Seek
Though there was clear evidence against him, locating Jones proved challenging as he eluded capture several times through late 2025 and early 2026.
His arrest finally took place on April 17 when the Fugitive Task Force from the Texas Attorney General's office, along with Fort Worth Police, apprehended him. He now faces charges of property theft, money laundering, and evading arrest.
