A man in Pasadena, California attempted to secure Pokémon trading cards by hiding inside a store after hours. The incident occurred as fans waited outside the store for the latest card release.

Caught on Camera

The event unfolded around 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Employees at Best Buy on East Foothill Boulevard noticed a suspicious figure inside the store via security cameras and contacted authorities.

Police responded promptly and entered the store with an employee's assistance, discovering 45-year-old Patrick Keys inside.

The Master Plan?
