Jesus Rivas, the father of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, denies any connection to D4vd, the man accused of her murder. He refutes rumors that his family had financial ties with the accused.

Denial of Rumors

Speaking through his attorney Patrick Steinfeld, Jesus Rivas strongly denied ever interacting with D4vd or receiving money from him or his family. These rumors have circulated in Lake Elsinore, California, where they live.

Allegations Against D4vd

D4vd, legally known as David Burke, faces multiple felony charges related to Celeste's death in April 2025 at his Hollywood Hills home. Prosecutors claim he arranged for her transportation and maintained contact with her throughout 2024 despite her family's intervention attempts.

Investigation and Legal Proceedings

Authorities report that Celeste was reported missing several times in 2024. Burke allegedly used intermediaries to facilitate travel for her across various locations. Her remains were found in September 2025 linked to Burke. He faces charges including first-degree murder and has pleaded not guilty, with a court appearance scheduled later this month.
