Polizzi admitted to feeling regret over neglecting her health appointments, which she discussed in an interview with Lara Spencer for Good Morning America. The "Jersey Shore" star acknowledged that fear kept her from attending to her medical needs earlier.

Health Journey

Earlier this year, Polizzi revealed on TikTok that she had been dealing with abnormal test results for years. She faced pre-cancerous changes and was surprised by the discovery of cancerous cells following a colonoscopy.

To determine the extent of the cancer, Polizzi underwent a cone biopsy, allowing doctors to check if it had spread beyond her cervix.

Treatment Plan

Currently confronting Stage I adenocarcinoma, Polizzi plans to have a hysterectomy as part of her treatment strategy. She expressed relief at keeping her ovaries and emphasized that early detection played a crucial role in managing her diagnosis.
